My Sand Sea Sky Blanket Crochet Pattern includes instructions for the following sizes: Throw Afghan, Twin, Full Double, Queen, & King. This unique ocean inspired blanket is designed with texture in mind. I hope you enjoy making this one of a kind blanket. Each size blanket will differ slighly in the sky. I've added pixel pictures below for each size. The one I made is a King size, the graph pictures show what the other finished sizes will look like. I will be creating different skies for this blanket and add on motifs in the future for this collection. So check back in the future for more designs! Dimensions for each blanket size is listed below.
Dimensions and yarn: The sizes below are for the top of a bed without a drape, if you want to add a drape over the sides of a bed, I would suggest either adding tassels or continue making the border larger. The yarn needs are for Red Heart Super Saver Ombre and Fleck Yarn in 10 oz skeins or 482 yards.
Color A: Sand 1: I used Red Heart Super Saver in Aran Fleck.
Color B: Sand 2: I used Red Heart Super Saver in Buff Fleck.
Color C: Sea: I used Red Heart Super Saver Ombre in Scuba.
To get the effect of the pictured blanket for the water, use any color of Red Heart Super Saver Ombre Yarn. It comes in several different shades of blues and greens.
Throw Afghan: 65” long x 65” wide. Color A: 950 yards (2 skeins), Color B: 460 yards (1 skein), Color C: 1400 yards (3 skeins)
Twin: 78" long x 49" wide. Color A: 750 yards (2 skeins), Color B: 380 yards (1 skein), Color C: 1030 yards (3 skeins)
Full/Double: 78” long x 57” wide. Color A: 880 yards (2 skeins), Color B: 440 yards (1 skein), Color C: 1420 yards (3 skeins)
Queen: 78” long x 65” wide. Color A: 1120 yards (3 skeins), Color B: 460 yards (1 skein), Color C: 1620 yards (4 skeins)
King: 78” long x 77" wide. Color A: 1140 yards (3 skeins), Color B: 470 yards (1 skein), Color C: 1650 yards (4 skeins)

Sand Sea Sky Blanket Afghan Crochet Pattern, Twin, Full Double, Queen, & King is a PDF Downloadable Pattern. This is a perfect pattern to create gifts for an ocean lover or any mermaid at heart in your life. This pdf downloadable pattern also includes links to youtube tutorial videos I've created to help you along the way. It uses crochet hook size I (5.5 mm) & 100% acrylic yarn.You could also use any size 4 medium worsted weight yarn. Stitches used in this pattern are dc, dtr, hdc, sl st, tr, trtr. You will be working in BLO, BP, FLO & FP. You might not recognize some of those stitches and that is okay, don't let it scare you away from this unique pattern. I have video tutorial links included for those stitches and they are easy to learn.
