Crocheted Seashell Hand Towel in Yellow, Purple, Blue, GreenWhat's in a Color?

This is my 2nd blog in my Color My Emotions series. I absolutely love color and enjoy creating the same item in many different colors...it brings a whole new experience to what I'm doing. My senses are awakened to different memories or thoughts depending upon the color I'm working with. Join me on this journey along my creative process. You can subscribe to my newsletter and select Crochet Product to get this series in your email.

Color My Emotions - Delicate

Your 2nd color choice in my Seashell Watercolor Collection is Delicate. Right away the name gently whispers at my heart strings.  The first perception is light and fun. Beautiful pastel colors of yellow, mint green, a gray that plays into the purple and a cornflower blue. It dances of spring and a Happy Easter with candy, bunnies, toys and eggs.....it's so perfect that its thundering and storming as I write this right now. It seems almost every Easter in the last few years has been on a rainy day for me.  So of course what comes to mind is the most amazing event in all of history. Let's see if I can get all these overly large feelings into words.

Delicate

Joy is in the Yellow that grabs a hold of me.

In the speckled Gray that plays Purple, I see the royalty.

Royalty of the King who gave His life for me!

Says the Gray to Purple

This King chooses the death of humanity

Oh the Blue that soaks up the blood of sin

And gives life to the Green, gives oxygen!

The sweet sacrifice of my Savior, my Lord

Brings me from darkness to Light &

Oh, this one had me shaking. There is sooo much between those lines. Such a bigger story than myself. This story is not just for Easter, its for everyday of the year. The world cries for a savior it already has but doesn't acknowledge. How this world is running from Him.

How we all struggle to live in our own power, including me, and we can not. I'm so thankful I'm forgiven and pursued by a faithful God who will never let me go.

I have a side hustle to my side hustle. I fell in love with Color Street Nail Polish Strips because they come in so many beautiful and artistic designs. They are 100% nail polish, not a sticker, not acrylic. They last longer than nail polish!  I wanted to share some of these beauties that match my Brights topic this week.
