Creative Art Expressions Handmade Black & Pink Heart Necklace Jewelry Design

This necklace is a gift to my little sister. She picked out the pendant from my stash of pendants and told me to do my thing with the rest. My sister, Nicki, has been very supportive of my jewelry making craft. She really seems to love what I make which of course makes me feel good. She is a very beautiful and fashionable young lady! So now she is hooked on necklaces.

I like my jewelry to have meaning and definitely want the gifts I give to reflect the people I'm giving them to. I want them to know they are very special to me and remember that when they wear what I designed especially for them.

This necklace is special to me because it was made to honor Capri, my little sister's daughter who has Cystic Fibrosis. Pink has been one of her favorite colors for a long time. She is a fighter and a little fire cracker. She has been on a clinical trial for a drug to help the strand of Cystic Fibrosis that she has for the past few years. It has really helped her and she is doing pretty well right now. I have a web page that is under construction that is dedicated to her and to help raise money to fight Cystic Fibrosis. 10% of what I make selling my crafts goes to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to help fight Cystic Fibrosis.

The Necklace

If you look closely you can see the beads with the roses in them. They are in between the black beads. These were added because 65 Roses is a trademark for Cystic Firbrosis. It is a sweet story about how a child called "Cystic Fibrosis"  "65 roses." You can click the link to read the story on the Cystic Fibrosis website.
